Early voting runs Sept. 17-Oct. 3, with Election Day Oct. 6. During early voting, you can register to vote and cast your ballot on the same day.

Wake County voters who live a district with Board of Education candidates can cast ballots in that contest.

All Raleigh voters can cast ballots in the mayoral and at-large races; for district races, you must live in the district to vote for that candidate. The same conecept applies for Cary residents voting for Town Council.
