Volunteer Spotlight
Volunteer Center of Durham Food Drive: Through July 31, the Volunteer Center will hold its annual food drive benefiting seven Durham agencies. Drop-off sites are located at Durham Regional Hospital, Wellspring Grocery and the Volunteer Center, or you can bring your nonperishable food items to Durham Alive, Thursday night in front of the Carolina Theatre, or to Blue Cross Blue Shield's offices Friday morning and evening. Suggested donation items include tuna, peanut butter, pasta, canned meats, cereal and macaroni and cheese. Call 688-8977 for locations and details.
