Volunteer Spotlight

Girl Scouts: Everyone is familiar with the Girl Scouts, but they're not the cookie-baking, homemaker training units of old. The Girl Scouts are looking for women leaders to teach girls everything from kayaking and auto repair to Web page design and natural science. There is a wide variety of positions for volunteers in the Girl Scouts but the important theme is diversity, in response to the diverse group of girls the organization serves. Regardless of your time schedule or your knowledge background, the Girl Scouts are eager to fill their volunteer ranks. Call 401-4722 for information.
