Vidalia Fried Onion Rings
In 4 Easy Steps!
7 medium Vidalia Onions, sliced 1/4" thick
1 slightly beaten egg
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons cooking oil
1 cup and 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
cooking oil for deep-fat frying (heated to 375 degrees)
Separate Vidalia Onions into rings; set aside.
Combine egg, milk, oil, flour and salt.
Beat just until well moistened.
Using a fork, dip onion rings into batter. Fry onion rings in a single layer until golden brown (2-3 minutes).
Drain on paper towels, then sprinkle with salt and serve.
