Vaudevillian Revue

When: Fri., Dec. 14, 10 p.m. 2012
Price: $8

It's not mandatory to don vintage attire for this night of "Prohibition-era debauchery," but dressing up like a flapper or John Dillinger could get you in the mood for a bill featuring live music, slapstick comedy and old-school salaciousness. Presented by the Vaudevillian Revue, a troupe dedicated to partying like it's 1933, the show features purveyors of the fine art of burlesque, including founder Virginia Scare, Meka La Creme and the diabolically well-named Purrrl Van Dammit. Musician Curtis Eller will perform as well. Show up at 8 p.m. with a pad and pencils for a burlesque life-drawing session with Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School. —David Klein
