Eve Ensler's play has been a major force in raising funds for anti-domestic violence groups, but I have always found the lack of male performances of this somewhat prejudicial. And by "male performances," I refer to semi-inebriated bull sessions with my friends in which we (meaning I) speculate about what it would be like if Ensler's monologues were performed by the likes of William Shatner or Mr. T. I would pay to see that. Oh lord, how I would pay.
Performances are at 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; tickets are $10, with proceeds going to InterAct. —Zack Smith
