Triangle Jazz Orchestra Open Rehearsal

You may be aware that since 2003, this area has been home to the 17-piece Triangle Jazz Orchestra, which celebrates the era of swing masters like Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, Count Basie, Benny Goodman and Duke Ellington. But did you know that they have a free open rehearsal on the first Wednesday of every month? You're invited, and they promise not to stop, retune and restart too often. Rehearsal begins at 7:30 p.m. There's even a little room to dance. —David Fellerath
