On Leave the Bottle, the latest from Asheville's Town Mountain, the band reasserts itself as a pre-eminent bluegrass act. Oftentimes clad in suits and laying down a driving interplay of melody and rhythm, they stick close to old traditions while blazing their own path. On Bottle, that mix manifests itself in songs about everything from cabin fever ("Greenbud on the Flower") to double murders ("Away From Home").
