That kitchen contraption your grandmother used to make those awesome cookies at Christmas. The rusty wrench set from your family's old service station business. Schlep them down to the Durham History Hub on Saturday to share their stories and to mingle those stories with those of your Bull City neighbors in the Museum of Durham History's first pop-up museum event. This pop-up's chosen theme is tools. At the end of the event, you take your object back home. Housed in the old bus depot on the Downtown Loop, the Durham History Hub is the physical manifestation of the Museum of Durham History, an agile idea that considers your attic, basement and mantle as Durham's museum floor. Children's activities and food trucks round out the afternoon. —Chris Vitiello
