DUKE CAMPUS—Duke Student Union and Duke Performances host a conversation with pianist, conductor and teacher Leon Fleisher and documentary filmmaker Nathaniel Kahn (My Architect). The program begins with a screening of Kahn's 2006 Academy Award-nominated short Two Hands, which illustrates what happened after Fleisher lost the use of his right hand in 1965. Until he regained use of the hand in 1995, Fleisher developed a repertoire of left-hand-only piano material. Expect him to work from both ends of his career at his solo performance Friday and during a world premiere of material by Haydn, Brahms and Toshio Hosokawa's Blossoming for String Quartet with the Tokyo String Quartet Saturday. Both shows are in Page Auditorium at 8 p.m. —Neil Morris

FLETCHER THEATER—The NPR-fave Winnipeg folk trio consists of three women singing bright ballads sewn from Celtic folk, bluesy-pop and Appalachian roots. The 8 p.m. show costs $22-$24. —Kathy Justice
