THE REGULATOR BOOKSHOP--Photographer Margaret Sartor reads from her coming-of-age memoir, a present-day prologue and epilogue neatly sandwiching chronologic lines and passages taken from the diaries she faithfully kept from 1972 through 1977, when she left home for college. Sartor rediscovered her cache of diaries in the attic of her family home in Louisiana. Braces, shag haircuts, cliquish girlfriends, her first bra, Nixon's resignation, musings about God and girlish crushes give way to first love in this compressed adolescence illustrated with family photographs.
