DUKE GARDENS—The Ciompi Quartet puts its best to work for three of Brahms' finest chamber works. On the Trio for Piano, Horn and Violin, guests Jane Hawkins and Nancy Billman will join Duke's long-standing resident string quartet for a Romantic piece interesting for its dynamics and syncopations. REGULATOR BOOKSHOPEver wonder what your high school daughter or middle school brother is thinking while awkwardly retreating into independent interior worlds? Your chance to find out lies in the honesty of the written word. Kids in grades 6-11 have been honing their skills at the Duke Young Writers camp for the last 20 years.
