A Child's Christmas in Wales
The Artscenter—Dylan Thomas' sentimental story of childhood is one of the most lyrical slice-of-life descriptions of a family gathering ever written, capturing the magic of a wintry holiday. The tale remains unknown to many children, but its low-key, sensitive exploration of a long-ago land is perhaps the best story ever written about the almost mythological hugeness that a Christmas holiday represents for a young child. The tale was originally written for the radio, so The ArtsCenter's staged production is a natural adaptation of the classic story. For more information, visit —Zack Smith
