Aurora in Chapel Hill will be hosting a Passover dinner Thursday, April 13 at 6 p.m., featuring a specially written service by Barry Katz and a menu prepared according to the Mediterranean Jewish tradition. Executive Chef Gwen Higgins is serving wild mushroom soup, Jewish artichokes Roman style, fillet of halibut and braised lamb shank. The Matzo bread is made in-house and baked in a wood-fired oven by Pastry Chef Jessie Manthey, who is creating desserts for the dinner.
