Burning Coal stages a special reading of Chris Cragin's new play, which deals with issues of environment and tradition in the Niger Delta. A lone fisherwoman futilely attempts to catch a fish from her polluted river as the rest of her village attends a celebration, then curses the villagers for allowing the oil companies to pollute their land and teams with two other women for revenge. The free production (though donations are suggested) starts at 7 p.m. —Zack Smith
