The Election Page

ORGANIZE!

Here¹s a way you can make a difference. The Independent Weekly is looking for opportunities around the Triangle--at businesses and special events--to set up a voter registration table. If you have a location and would like to have our volunteers register voters, send us an e-mail at

editors@indyweek.com and write "Registration Request" in the header. Or, if you'd like to volunteer to help staff one of the tables, write "Registration Volunteer" in the header.

Vote! If you want to vote in the July 20 primary, you MUST register to vote by June 25. And here's something you probably didn't know: If you're going to be 18 by Election Day on Nov. 2, you can register now and vote in the July primary. So what are you waiting for?
