Enjoy an old-school "talkie" with Janet Gaynor and Charles Ferrell in this 1929 musical about a rich boy who falls for a poor girl in Manhattan. The film features such classic numbers as "I'm a Dreamer, Aren't We All?" and "Turn On the Heat" by the classic songwriting team of DeSylva, Brown and Henderson. This print was preserved by the Museum of Modern Art, with support from the Film Foundation and the Franco American Cultural Fund. Independent contributor Laura Boyes curates this series.
