Ryan King Benefit with Leadfoot
Lincoln Theatre—To shred is its own reward, but tonight the benefit goes to Ryan King, the singer for Skynyrd cover band Tuesday's Gone. His family lost everything to an apartment fire, so their Raleigh friends are banding together to buck them up. ZZ Top tribute band Tres Hombres help out, but the night's highlight belongs to the Leadfoot reunion. Their Southern-fried riff-rocking blends the proto-metal boogie of AC/DC with squealing country-blues rock aggression cadged from the Stones and Allmans. After the show, receive tips from ex-506 bartender and current professional dating "coach," Leadfoot guitarist Johnny Dzubak (Not a joke: See Pay $10 at 4:30 p.m. —Chris Parker
