Revival

High octane has become cliche when used in music write-ups, and no one ever liked the term cowpunk. But damn if both don't feel right when jawing about Reverend Horton Heat and the new Revival, especially when discussing rave-ups such as "Callin' in Twisted" and "Party Mad." Revival can be filed between the work of the Rev's labelmates Dave Alvin, representing the spirit of rockabilly past, and Southern Culture on the Skids, representing the spirit of psychobilly current.
