Duke Campus—South African choreographer Vincent Mantsoe blends traditional African dance styles with contemporary global dance styles to create what he calls Afro-fusion. Tonight, Duke Performances welcomes his latest, Men-Jaro (township slang for "friendship"). Tonight's performance is at 8 p.m. in Page Auditorium on Duke's West Campus. Tickets are $22. For more info, visit or call 660-3356.—Iesha Brown

Regulator Bookshop—While the eyes of many war journalists were on Iraq, three independent filmmakers—Aisha Bain, Jen Marlowe and Adam Shapiro—departed for Darfur in October 2004 in order to engage the people of the region to share their stories with the world. The resulting film is Darfur Diaries: Stories of Survival, and today at 3 p.m. Jen Marlowe will be at the Regulator Bookshop, where she will sign copies of the book from the film and share her experiences. —Ashley Roberts

McIntyre's Books—Acclaimed author Haven Kimmel will be at McIntyre's to discuss her new book, She Got Up Off The Couch, the "she" being Kimmel's mom. For more info, call 542-3030. —Megan Stein
