BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN

N.C. MUSEUM OF ART--Before Brokeback Mountain rides off into the sunset of parody, let's spend some time with Jack Twist and Ennis Del Mar. You can't beat the great outdoors of the museum as a setting for these two lonesome cowboys with a lot of docile sheep to watch and nothing to do out there on the range. Well, not much, anyway. See it Saturday at 9 p.m. Bring $3. --David Fellerath

HOOP IT UP

RBC CENTER--The largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the country returns to Raleigh to celebrate its 18th year and bring some major hoops action to the Triangle. Games start at 9 a.m. For more info, check www.hoopitup.com. --Kathy Justice

THE ROCK & SHOP MARKET

TIR NA NOG--A friend recently turned to the Web in search of a Judas Priest onesie for a baby shower gift. That's just the kind of, shall we say, niche item that could very well turn up when the Rock & Shop Market takes over Tir Na Nog for an afternoon. Described as a "fashion, art and music flea market," the Rock & Shop Market features the work of independent designers as well as music by equally indie artists. Three dollars gets you in, but you're going to want to bring plenty more to spend. --Rick Cornell
