Raleigh
Deathtrap
Raleigh Little Theatre—Ira Levin's Broadway darling of a mind blower tells the story of Sydney Bruhl, a failing playwright and absentee husband suffering from an epic case of writer's block. As Bruhl begins to deteriorate mentally, an ex-student of his reappears with what seems like a hit play in tow, thereby drawing Bruhl and the other four equally desperate characters in a downward spiral leading to the inevitable, delightfully bloody end. The show runs through Oct. 26. Call 821-3111 for tickets or visit raleighlittletheatre.org. Admission is $18, $15 for students and seniors, $10 on the first Sunday. —Vernal Coleman
