Its sad to say but I knew one of the people who was found dead on the trail.I don't beleave she was kill there but dump there.Giving the fact people has seen her in other areas.True it make the trail look like a place you don't want to be after dark.More reason why crime should be a top priority.
I beleave they did know and thought building the trail would make the problems go away.Instead it kind of gave the hanger ons and lottering more reasons to stay there. Most of theses people hanging around were kids who had drop out of school or skipping shool.so I beleave they felt they were bring intruded on.This was their hanging place and the city was taking it over.
Sorry left out a worded crime.
Anyone no matter who you are how much money you have should be able to go about this city and enjoy its wonders.Which side of the track you are from is a serpertice idea and its a downing of who we are as a community.Keeping at bay in any part of this city should be a main concerm for all who want to enjoy whats Durham hads to offer.
I agree with you n the pepper spray thing. But don't on the gun I was hoping things would get better on the trail sents I was planning to use it myself to walk and just get some my time in. But I don't want to be preserved as some kind of criminal just for enjoying something ment for all to enjoy.I see it still going to take a while before we can all feel safe on such a wonderful enjoyment.
