After some time spent as a construction worker in a cozy Maine mill town, Rod Picott traded in his tool belt and set his sights on Nashville. His relocation to Music City bolstered his musical opportunities, but it never dulled the workingman edge of his voice. Over five solo records (and one duo release), Picott has hammered the hard truth and revealed the beauty of the everyday.
