This trio of acts that could each headline Deep South offers diverse shades of rock. Greenville's Charming Youngsters are the most intriguing of the bunch, living up to their name without getting precious, thanks to a grab bag of bouncy and jangly indie pop nuggets marked by ardent coed harmonies. Oak City mainstays A Rooster for the Masses make sharp, politically edged indie rock built from dub influences and for arenas. Raleigh quintet River City Ransom closes the night with poppy anthems charged by punk pep and led with Blake Schlukbier's theatrical delivery. The show starts at 10 p.m.; visit deepsouththebar.com for admission price. —Spencer Griffith
