If you hosted a raging backyard party, you couldn't do much better than this bill. D Generation guitarist Richard Bacchus cranks out anthemic garage rock with a keen mix of grit and hook-lined glory. Terry Anderson's even sharper with a catchy melody; his bar-band rock blends Rockpile's infectious verve with the twangy imprimatur of '70s Stones. Dash Rip Rock turned the '50s ditty "At the Hop" into "(Let's Go) Smoke Some Pot," codifying their lyrical irreverence.
