Reese McHenry, Todd Warner

When: Sun., Nov. 6, 1:30 p.m. 2011
Price: Free

Sunday brunch is a funny thing. Morality-based legislation keeps beer taps closed until noon, but this is also the perfect time for those too hungover to eat breakfast any earlier. So smart move, Motorco, for bringing Durham street food and stage musicians into what is traditionally the realm of fancy hats. Reese McHenry, the powerhouse vocalist and guitarist behind the much-missed hard-blues trio Dirty Little Heaters, brings a solo set of her heart-rending, Southwestern-tinged ballads. Todd Warner of Durham garage-country outfit the Mercators also plays a solo set. —Corbie Hill
