Real grassroots politics

Thank you for your thorough coverage of Chatham County politics ("High noon in Chatham," April 26). It's a real boost to know that our grassroots efforts to take control of our government away from developers, wealthy land owners and the good ol' boy network has not gone unnoticed. We are a great test case for progressives learning how to convince rural conservatives that we can serve their interests.
