Florida Gov. (and presidential brother) Jeb Bush, on why he was wearing an orange sticker on his chest.

Quote of the WeekOrange Alert

Orange Alert

I'm a little concerned that Dick Cheney is going to walk in."

--FloridaGov. (and presidential brother) Jeb Bush, on why he was wearing an orange sticker on his chest. He made the joke on Tuesday before harry Whittington, who cheney accidentally shot saturday on a hunting trip in texas, suffered a mild heart attack when a piece of bird shot migrated to his heart. Cheney, who hadn't publicly acknowledged the shooting before Whittington took a turn for the worse (except to note that he had failed to purchase a $7 hunting stamp) then issued a statement that said he had called his hunting partner in the hospital. "The vice president wished Mr. Whittington well and asked if there was anything he needed," the statement said.

In Raleigh's Moore Square and around Main Street in Durham, we ignore people who we assume don't have housing. Rocky and those like him go to Love Wins or the Maurin House to find eye contact, to hear a "good morning," to be a part of their cities.
