--N.C. house speaker Jim Black, upon releasing 2,100 pages of documents on his office's role in creating the state lottery. They show, for instance, that his former political director, Meredith Norris (who was on the payroll of lottery vendor scientific games), tried to set up a meeting between Black and Kevin Geddings, who also worked for scientific games. Black appointed Geddings to the state lottery commission, and Geddings later resigned.
