The benefits for Cy Rawls, a long-time local music booster recently diagnosed with a brain tumor, keep coming. Polvo; Cantwell, Gomez & Jordan; Double Negative; Fin Fang Foom; and the Magic Babies will come together at the Cat’s Cradle for Rawls Sunday, Aug. 17. This announcement comes on the heels of the Aug. 29 bill split between Superchunk, The Rosebuds and Birds of Avalon confirmed yesterday. Grappling Hook, Tooth and Colossus are also set for a benefit Thursday, Aug. 21, at Local 506. And don’t forget tomorrow’s show at Slim’s for Rawls: Grass Widow, Crossed Eyes and Devour band together at 10 p.m.

  • Tooth, Double Negative among others added to benefits
