How insane to presuppose that the troubles of the subject of "Dreams deferred" (Aug. 2) are mine and society's fault because we are not giving enough money! The choice to have kids that you can't afford, the choice to commit crime, not go to school, do drugs, etc., are not mine or society's fault. It's about personal responsibility--hello! Your entire premise is ludicrous.
