The O'Jays' original lead vocalist Eddie Levert and fellow founding member Walter Williams may both hit their 70th birthdays this summer, but the pair—who formed two-thirds of the core trio that garnered six Billboard Top 10 pop singles and 24 Top 10 R&B tracks since the early '70s—kept the legendary group alive by adding singer Eric Grant to its ranks in 1997.
