No Shame Theatre

When: Sat., March 24, 10 p.m. 2012
Price: $2

No Shame Theatre, which is essentially open-mic theater, had its first performance in Iowa in 1986 from the back of a pickup truck. Since then, the concept has spread to many cities, including New York, Miami and Chicago. If you're a writer wondering if your play or play concept has any legs, bring a no-more-than-four-minute script, as well as actors, to The ArtsCenter, 30–60 minutes before showtime and sign up. Email markcornell53@yahoo.com if you are planning to submit something that evening. The show starts at 10 p.m. Call 929-2787 or go to noshame.org for more information. —Christina Cass
