Triangle Hospice Memorial Gospel Concert

Triangle Hospice is hosting gospel group The Community Ambassadors (pictured above) during the first annual Triangle Hospice Memorial Gospel Concert. The Community Ambassadors are a 12-man a cappella choir assembled from a variety of churches. Officials from Triangle Hospice say that the concert is an outreach effort to the African-American community: Many people don't realize that the hospice's services are available to everyone regardless of their ability to pay. "We turn no one away," is their motto. The concert takes place Sunday, Nov. 18, from 4-6 p.m. at the Hayti Heritage Center in Durham in the newly renovated St. Joseph's Performance Hall. The concert is free, and will be emceed by The Light 103.9 FM radio DJ Melissa Wade. Call 490-8480 for details.
