Galaxy Cinema--This Cary art house has taken chances with its programming since its inception, offering first and second runs of films not guaranteed to succeed in the Triangle. The theater is now involved in two new film series: one carrying film festival successes not long after they win their laurels, the other carrying children's favorites during the summer. Dreamer runs this week from June 19-22 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., with tickets costing only $1. Dreamer is the story of an injured filly who is brought back to its once-glorious potential after Kurt Russell sacrifices everything he has to save it for the love of his daughter, played by Dakota Fanning. Kris Kristofferson and Elisabeth Shue also star. For more, see www.mygalaxycinema.com.
