Chapel Hill
The Families of Abraham
UNC Campus—Eight Charlotte photographers unite to voice their opinion of religious battles in The Families of Abraham. The 207 photographs in the exhibit compare and contrast the Christian, Jewish and Muslim faiths. Exhibit curator Eleanor Brawley, who also has photos in the exhibit, says, "People today are overwhelmed by the enormity of violence around the world in the name of religion. These religions historically originated from the same part of the world, and all claim the same ancestor." The free exhibit is located in the Frank Porter Graham Student Union. The exhibit is open Mondays-Thursdays 7:30 a.m.-9 p.m. and Fridays 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m., through Aug. 31.
