Molly Ivins, 1944-2007 

The great and beloved Molly Ivins, political columnist par excellence, died last Wednesday, Jan. 31, of breast cancer at the age of 62. In 1993 her travels brought her to Raleigh, where she was honored at the North Carolina ACLU's Frank Porter Graham Awards ceremony.
