Lunch Money is like Christine Lavin for kids; Molly Ledford's indie pop/rock band is that clever, fun and, at times, completely ridiculous. Their previous CD, Dizzy, was NPR's No. 2 children's recording last year, and today's launch of their new CD, Original Friend, will likely follow suit. The South Carolina group may leave you singing catchy hooks and hugging your local librarian (check out the Dizzy track "I Love My Library"). Preceding the 11 a.m. show is a free kids' art sampler at 9:30 a.m.; both events are appropriate for pre-K and up. Tickets are $8 for youth (free for children 2 and under) and $10 for adults; $1 discount for advance purchase. —Christina Cass
