The career of former Lafcadio co-leader Lizzy Ross hasn't suffered since the promising indie folk group's demise. Instead, she's forged her way with her own band to bigger stages. Ross' songs, too, have become bolder and more adventurous in the hands of the trio of skilled instrumentalists she now fronts. Together, they incorporate touches of jazz, blues and rock into a soulful, twangy foundation. But, it's still Ross' stunning pipes that steal the show, bewitching audiences with the ability to go from strong and sassy to sweet or sultry. The free show begins at 6 p.m. —Spencer Griffith
