At first blush, spotting Staind frontman Aaron Lewis on a bill with mid-level country stars Little Big Town and Jason Michael Carroll and local act the Johnny Orr Band seems like an obvious mistake. But earlier this year, the hard rocker likely alienated most of his fanbase by going country for his first solo release, a half-assed attempt that finds Lewis transforming his lifeless acoustic ballads with a twang-free New England "drawl" and overdubs of dobro and pedal steel. Fortunately for fans of the genre, the rest of the bill is certainly rewarding, with Carroll—a Triangle boy gone big—the highlight. Don't find yourself on the outside looking in (incumbent Staind joke, landed) when the show starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10–15, with proceeds benefitting local tornado victims—Spencer Griffith
