Kevin McDonald

When: Fri., June 21, 8 p.m. 2013
Price: $16-20

It appears that former members of the Canadian sketch troupe Kids in the Hall are finding second careers as stand-up comedians. Dave Foley and Scott Thompson already are established, and now it looks like Kevin McDonald is going down that same road. McDonald's act, billed as "An Evening of Stand-Up and Improv with Kevin McDonald," features local comedians and improvisers joining him onstage for extemporaneous hijinks. Although it hasn't been announced who in the local comedy community will join him (oh, how we'd kill to see the consistently awkward McDonald interact with Steve Brady or Mello Mike Miller), we have no doubt that McDonald, who will also be teaching improv at DSI Comedy Theater this weekend, will get along just fine with whoever comes his way. —Craig D.
