This double-event starts with a reading and signing by Coretta Scott King Award-winner Kadir Nelson for his new book I Have a Dream, illustrating Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous speech. But there's more: Estes Hills Elementary teacher Mary Andrews will be honored as the recipient of the $10,000 Random House Foundation Teacher Literacy Award for her teaching and her volunteer work with programs in reading and writing. Celebrate King's legacy and a great teacher at this free event, which starts at 5 p.m. —Zack Smith
