Joshua Lozoff & Micah Cover, An Evening of Enchantments

When: Nov. 11-13, 8 p.m. and Sun., Nov. 14, 3 p.m. 2010
Price: $15-17

Despite a name that conjures up thoughts of Walt Disney, An Evening of Enchantments does not refer to a ball or a dance, but rather to magic. Joshua Lozoff needs little introduction to area magic fanciers, but here he shares the bill with Micah Cover. Lozoff was one of two American magicians to perform at Japan's Expo 2005, and has had countless sold-out shows. Cover performs mostly in Los Angeles, wowing crowds in the Magic Castle in Hollywood and boasting "personalized magic that will haunt you." We're told that this may be Lozoff's last stage show in the area for a while, so if you're jonesing for your magic fix, don't miss out. The show runs tonight through Sunday, with performances at 7:30 p.m. and a Sunday matinee at 3 p.m. —Belem Destefani
