Life doesn't have to be complicated. That's the message from Jonny Corndawg's redneck country rock. There's a lighthearted Springsteen-ish exultation of life in these tunes, whether they're suggesting that "When a Ford Man Turns to Chevy" an angel gets her wings, or confessing "Chevy Beretta, small town, loud music, I'm starting all the fights that get started tonight." Their wit shines on "Life of a Bear," in which the furry ones come off as everyday Joes. Though the band spends most of its time in classic country and outlaw camps, don't be surprised with tracks such as the folky, diary-reading-parent ode "Undercover Dad." The Magnolia Collective and Mike Blair & the Stonewalls open the 10 p.m. show. Tickets are $8 —Chris Parker
