Indy Loved Useful

I love the objectivity and non-partisan nature of your weekly rag. In fact I love it so much that it has become the preferred source of material to line my bird cage! You and your "rag" should be run out of town on a rail for suggesting voters vote in the traditional democratic way: "early and often."

Have you no conscience?

In retaliation for your blatantly anarchistic and childish front page, I am mounting a grass roots effort to contact all of your advertisers and let them know that we fair-minded citizens do not appreciate or support the advertisers of the Independent Weekly. editor's note: Some of our readers were thrown off by our cover, which asked voters to urge another to vote then do that again. We did not intend for it to be read as an encouragement to vote more than once, which is usually a felony.

"Thank you many times over for posting the week's N.C. legislative bills passed. Also for the statistics page. Both are very helpful in keeping abreast of the insanity of the radical Republicans in our state government."

"Duke, Exxon and the Koch Brothers may be turning up the heat, but they're also investing in political power and public relations (i.e. lies)."
