This Saturday, June 16 at noon, Burning Coal Theatre Company will be presenting the world premiere staged reading of Mississippi-based playwright Tim X. Davis' Dancing with Dani. The play is about a young man whose wife dies in a car accident, and the group of high school friends who return to provide him with solace and support. "This play concerns the idea that deep friendships last beyond the bounds of immediate contact," says Jerome Davis, director of Burning Coal. Allison Talis, from Chicago, who has directed with the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, directs the latest work in Burning Coal's High Noon @ the Rialto series of staged readings.
