After releasing Warmth and Beauty, one of the finest country records out of the Triangle this year, Thad Cockrell finally made his move to Nashville. It's doubtful, though, that the big city will keep him from a visit from time to time, especially when he's got friends and collaborators like the folks in Roman Candle to share the stage with. Their recent joint appearance at Tyler's for a live recording session proved that good chemistry makes good music. Acoustic rockers SpencerAcuff open. Tickets for the Friday, Sept. 17 show at Cat's Cradle are $8 in advance. Doors open at 8:30 p.m.
