It's a question that I've been asked a dozen times since the Rolling Stones' Oct. 8 concert at Duke's Wallace Wade Stadium was announced: So, are you going? A friend originally from the Poughkeepsie, N.Y., area has been Stones crazy since his early teens, the kind of completist who needs to have both the original version and the four-seconds-shorter radio edit of a song. He'll be there. Another friend became the proud owner of my copy of the Sticky Fingers LP with the working zipper about 10 years back because her unbridled fandom made that transfer the right thing to do. I bet she's going. There's a couple of guys who celebrate Keith Richards' birthday every year by erecting a candle-lit shrine complete with a bottle of whiskey should Keith decide to drop in. Just try and keep them away. If you want to go, tickets are $60-$160 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.
