John Renbourn, the mesmerizing guitarist for English folk legends Pentangle, is joined by long time collaborator and Pentangle member Jacqui McShee for a show at Eno River Unitarian Universalist church on Garrett Road in Durham on Sunday, May 16.
Renbourn, a finger picker who says he owes his style to blues legends like Big Bill Broonzy and former Durham resident Brownie McGhee, is adding this date to his U.S. tour before heading home. The show, sponsored by the Triangle Folk Music Society, starts at 8 p.m. and costs $18 in advance and for society members or $20 at the door. Call 403-2013 for information.
